Senior Bookkeeper

Job Description

This is a remote position.

Maintain accurate financial records, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and prepare financial reports. Manage accounts payable and receivable, including creating invoices, processing payments, and following up on overdue accounts.Process payroll, including calculating and processing employee wages, superannuation contributions, and other related tasks.Prepare financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Prepare budgets and financial forecasts for the business.Ensure the business is compliant with tax laws, including preparing and submitting tax returns.

Requirements

Must have a qualification in accounting or bookkeeping such as a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping or higher. Several years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, with a proven track record of managing financial records and preparing financial reports.Experience in using MYOB bookkeeping software is required.Must have advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel.Excellent attention to detail.Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Exceptional analytical skills to be able to interpret financial data and provide insights to clients or employers.
