Fast Food Manager

Babinda Burgers Pty Ltd is a well-established and growing fast food business dedicated to providing quality food and excellent customer service to the local community and visitors. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fast Food Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our business and lead our team in delivering exceptional service while ensuring the continued success and profitability of the business. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the business to ensure efficient and profitable trading.  

• Recruit, train, supervise and mentor staff to maintain high standards of customer service and operational performance.  

• Prepare staff rosters and allocate duties to ensure appropriate staffing levels and efficient business operations.  

• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve profitability and business growth.  

• Manage stock control, order supplies and liaise with suppliers to maintain appropriate inventory levels.  

• Implement marketing and promotional activities to increase sales and customer engagement.  

• Maintain high customer service standards and promptly resolve customer enquiries and complaints.  

• Ensure compliance with food safety legislation, workplace health and safety requirements, and company policies and procedures.  

• Monitor business performance and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability.  

• Assist with budgeting, cost control and monitoring financial performance to achieve business objectives.  

• Ensure the premises are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, presentation and operational readiness.  

Qualifications And Experience 

• A Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality Management, Business, Retail Management or a related field, together with at least 1 year of relevant full-time management experience; or 

• At least three years of relevant full-time management experience in the fast food, hospitality or retail industry. 

Skills & Attributes 

• Demonstrated experience managing the day-to-day operations of a fast food, hospitality or retail food business.  

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to recruit, train, supervise and motivate a team.  

• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.  

• Experience in staff rostering, inventory management and supplier liaison.  

• A sound understanding of customer service principles and business operations.  

• Knowledge of food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.  

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
