Qualified Baker – Bakers Delight Mowbray

About the Role

As a Qualified Baker, you will be responsible for preparing, baking and presenting a wide range of Bakers Delight products to a consistently high standard. You will work as part of a supportive production team in a fast-paced bakery environment, with early morning shifts and a strong focus on quality, food safety and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

·        Prepare and bake bread, rolls and other bakery products in line with Bakers Delight standards.

·        Mix, mould, prove and bake dough to produce consistent, high-quality products.

·        Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards.

·        Monitor product quality, freshness and presentation throughout production.

·        Work efficiently during early morning production shifts.

·        Support the bakery team with stock rotation, ordering preparation and general production duties.

·        Contribute to a positive, reliable and team-focused workplace culture.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

·        A recognised baking qualification or equivalent professional baking experience.

·        Experience working in a commercial bakery or fast-paced food production environment.

·        Strong knowledge of dough preparation, baking processes and food safety practices.

·        A reliable work ethic and availability for early morning starts.

·        The ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

·        A positive attitude, attention to detail and pride in your craft.
