About us
ACR NORTH is a Queensland based company, that specialises in the repair and maintenance of crushing, screening and material handling equipment.
We are looking for a site trade qualified Fitters and Boilermakers with wide Quarry Maintenance experience, available to work on site, night shift and weekends when required.
The position is site based. In this role, successful applicants will be required to perform work on Crushers, screens, conveyors and any other maintenance requirements from the client. Keeping safety practices and paperwork at the clients expected level. While ACR North has a high work/life balance expectancy, this role will require overtime/weekend work from time to time. This is a casual position with the option of permanency after trial period.
Qualifications & experienceProven experience on quarry plant maintenance and diverse crusher experience.
Australian Recognised trade certificate for Fitter or boilermaker.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
Strong understanding of crushing operations, machinery maintenance, and repair.
Excellent Communication skills
Must have current manual drivers licence
Strong commitment to Work Health and Safety
Current safety qualifications (such as a White Card, working at heights, and confined space tickets) or willingness to obtain prior to commencing work.
Perform scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on fixed plant equipment such as crushers, vibrating screens, conveyors, feeders and associated chute work.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues with crushers and other fixed plant.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to ensure work is completed on time and to high standards.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work completed.
Random drug and alcohol screening
Great housekeeping skills
Flexible for some weekend work/overtime.
Compliance with all safety rules and procedures to ensure all work is undertaken in a safe and timely manner at all times
Must have own hand tools
Uniforms supplied only after trial period.
