Astech Electrical Services is seeking a reliable and motivated qualified electrician to join our growing Sydney team.

About the Role

You will work across commercial electrical projects throughout Sydney, with occasional travel to regional areas when required.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Completing commercial electrical installations, fit-outs and maintenance works

• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications

• Installing power, lighting, switchboards, communications and associated electrical services

• Testing, fault-finding and commissioning electrical installations

• Communicating with project managers, supervisors, clients and other trades

• Managing your daily workload and completing works efficiently

• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment

• Keeping your company vehicle clean, organised and appropriately stocked

• Managing tools, equipment and material stock levels

• Completing relevant site documentation and reporting

• Supporting apprentices and contributing positively to the wider team

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• A current NSW Electrical Licence

• Current Construction White Card

• Current Australian driver’s licence

• Commercial construction or fit-out experience

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

• A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• A professional and well-presented approach

• A reliable, punctual and positive attitude

• Willingness to travel or work overtime when required

Additional licences such as EWP, Working at Heights, First Aid or High-Risk Work qualifications will be highly regarded.
