We are currently seeking a Finnish-speaking Registered Nurse to join our team in Thornlands, QLD in a Permanent Part-Time role.

In this specialised role, you will be a vital link in our clinical team by assisting our General Practitioner (GP) during weekly doctor’s rounds, ensuring clear communication, comfort, and the highest standard of care for our Finnish-speaking residents.

• Assist the GP during weekly clinical rounds, providing vital Finnish-to-English communication support to ensure our residents' medical needs and voices are fully understood.

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to our lovely residents

• Administer medications, complete assessments, and create care plans

• Monitor health needs and respond to clinical changes

• Work closely with a friendly, multidisciplinary team

• Keep clinical documentation up to standard

• Promote safety, wellbeing, and infection control

• Support and mentor junior staff and care workers

• Fluent in both Finnish and English (verbal and written)

• Registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse

• At least 1 years’ experience in aged care or a similar setting

• Skilled in wound care, medications, palliative care & more

• Great communication and people skills

• Confident using digital clinical systems

• You genuinely care about people and want to make a difference
