CNC Machinist / Setter | Defence, Aerospace and Precision Manufacturing

Ready for a fresh start in 2026? Protonautics is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / Setter to join our growing manufacturing team.

We are an AS9100-certified precision manufacturer supporting Defence, Aerospace, Medtech and autonomous industries. This role suits someone who enjoys low-volume, high-compliance machining, setting up modern CNC mills and lathes, troubleshooting machining issues, working with programmers, supporting apprentices, and ensuring work meets demanding quality requirements.

You will ideally bring trade qualifications, CNC setup experience, strong measuring skills, safe work habits, good communication skills and the ability to work independently once settled in. CAM / Mastercam capability would be well regarded.
