About the Role

As a Jumbo Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of underground development drill rigs while contributing to the achievement of production and development targets. You will work closely with the underground mining team to ensure all activities are completed to the highest safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate underground jumbo drill rigs safely and efficiently.
• Complete development drilling in accordance with mine plans and geotechnical requirements.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks.
• Maintain accurate drilling records and reports.
• Identify and report hazards, equipment defects, and operational issues.
• Comply with site safety procedures, standards, and statutory requirements.
• Work collaboratively within a high-performing underground mining team.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience operating underground jumbo drill rigs.
• Current underground mining experience.
• Strong commitment to safety and risk management.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Sound communication and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant underground mining certifications and competencies.
• Current driver's licence.
