The Opportunity  

SKF Lubrication Australia is seeking a Technical Sales Customer Service Assistant who will be instrumental in ensuring operational continuity while providing high-quality application engineering, technical sales support and customer experience across Australia. 

The main duties will include: 

• Act as a key technical and customer support interface for ANZ customers, distributors and internal sales teams. 

• Responding to customer queries in a timely and effective manner, via phone, email and internal systems. 

• Provide timely, accurate and high-quality technical advice to support sales enquiries, quotations, projects and customer problems. 

• Support internal sales teams with application knowledge, product selection and solution validation. 

• Manage technical enquiries, escalations and customer support cases through to resolution. 

• Order entry and order management to deliver best possible customers outcomes. 

• Working collaboratively with our Sales, Procurement, Engineering and Logistics teams. 

• Documenting and investigating customer complaints and claims. 

• Identifying customer needs and taking proactive steps to main positive experiences. 

• Exceptional attention to detail and demonstrated ability to deliver accurate data entry, documentation, reporting and correspondence. 

• Demonstrated experience in an administrative support to a wider team. 

• Excellent computer skills with ability to efficiently use various technology tools and Office suite.  

 About You 

• At least five years’ experience in a similar role and 10 or more years' experience in related Industries. 

• Demonstrated experience in Lubrication System design and solutions. 

• Demonstrated experience in technical sales support, application engineering or customer-facing technical roles Strong understanding and knowledge of SKF Lubrication Systems. 

• Experience within ERP Systems (NetSuite experience advantageous) 

• Understanding of CRM software (Sales Force) 

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. 

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. 

• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. 

• Experience in Industrial goods and services sector with Lubrication Systems knowledge is highly desirable.
