Furniture Maker / Factory Hand

THE POSITION 

Due to continued growth Tait is seeking a experienced Factory Hand and driver to work the day shift ASAP.   

Position is available on a Full-time, Permanent or Casual basis. 

Hours of Work

• A standard 38-hour week, with seasonal overtime opportunity.

• General hours are Monday to Thursday 6.00am – 2:30pm and Friday 6.00pm – 12.00pm

Successful candidates will possess the following Qualities, Skills, and Experience:

Requirements -

• Ensure completion of scheduled work, safety guidelines and maintaining tidy workplaces

• Assembly of components / furniture and packaging of products.

• Preparation of products for powder coating

• Read drawings and work orders for details of job.

• A high-level of attention to detail.

• Strong work ethic: be reliable, punctual and committed to the operational requirements of the business.

• Ability to establish a healthy working relationship with fellow employees.

• Physical fitness, as you will be on your feet and moving, in a factory environment most of the day. Heavy lifting is required

• Full working rights to work in Australia.

Desirable attributes -

• Previous experience in hand spraying powder coating, and operating ovens / booths. .

• Previous experience with hand tools.

• Forklift Licence

• Full drivers license.
