Next Gen Electrical Services is an electrical contracting company based in Bayswater, and we’re looking for a motivated and reliable First Year Electrical Apprentice to join our growing team.

About Us

We’re a small, close-knit and supportive company where you’ll work directly alongside our two A-Grade electricians. You’ll receive one-on-one mentoring, hands-on experience, and guidance from day one.

We believe apprentices learn best by getting involved, so you’ll gain exposure to a wide variety of residential electrical work rather than doing the same tasks every day. We would also prefer applicants who live locally to Bayswater or the surrounding suburbs.

About the Role

As an apprentice, you’ll assist our qualified electricians with a variety of residential electrical work, including:

• General residential electrical work
• Renovations and new installations
• Appliance installations
• Lighting, power and switchboard work
• Fault finding and maintenance
• Insurance repair works

No two days are the same, giving you the opportunity to build a broad range of skills and experience.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal applicant will:

• Have a genuine interest in becoming an electrician
• Be reliable, punctual and have a strong work ethic
• Be willing to learn and take direction
• Have a positive attitude and enjoy working as part of a team
• Take pride in their work and presentation
• Hold (or be working towards obtaining) a driver’s licence
• Hold a White Card (or be willing to obtain one)
• Live locally to Bayswater or surrounding suburbs (preferred)

No previous electrical experience is required—just the right attitude and a willingness to learn.
