Senior Residential Estimator

We're seeking a senior-level Residential Estimator to manage the end-to-end quoting process for residential electrical projects. This is a full-time, in-house position based at our Malaga office — you'll work closely with our operations and project delivery teams to ensure accurate, competitive, and profitable quotes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed, accurate estimates for residential electrical projects from plans and specifications

• Manage the full quoting process using SimPRO, from initial takeoff through to final submission

• Liaise with builders, clients, and suppliers to clarify scope and pricing

• Source and negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors

• Review project plans and specifications to identify scope, risks, and cost drivers

• Support handover of won jobs to the operations team

• Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes and templates

About You

• 2-3 years' experience in residential electrical estimating (essential)

• Hands-on experience using SimPRO (preferred)

• Strong understanding of residential electrical scope, materials, and pricing

• Confident reading and interpreting residential building plans and specifications

• Familiarity with WA electrical compliance requirements (AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules) is highly regarded

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• High attention to detail and strong time management

• Based in Perth and available to work in-house at our Malaga office
