Chefs

Hotel Sorrento is seeking experienced and motivated Chefs to join the dynamic Kitchen Team. Positions available include Breakfast Chef, Cook & Commis roles in the Fryer and Larder sections within the Main Dining Room Restaurant. This is an opportunity to play an integral role in the reopening of the restaurant. Key responsibilities

• Preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes

• Maintain consistency and portion control according to recipes and standards

• Follow food safety guidelines and HACCP procedures

We’re looking for:

·         Strong work ethic and efficiently during busy service periods

·         High level communication and time management skills

·         Certificate 2 & 3 Commercial Cooking qualifications

Approximately 20-30hrs per week to start, with increased hours up to full time over the Summer period. Rotating 7 day roster. Weekend and Evening availability is essential.
