The Perioperative Services team provides patient-centred specialised care and are committed to quality and safe care to enhance our community’s experience. The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) is an expert practitioner who, through leadership facilitates evidence-based practice.
The CNC will promote a service which fosters clinical excellence, research and professional leadership. The CNC contributes to quality health care by collaborating with the health care providers and consumer groups, developing clinical practice standards and evaluating their outcomes. The CNC is responsible for providing services which facilitate effective management of the care in the given specialty.
