We are seeking a dynamic Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to deliver exceptional care to patients undergoing cancer treatment. This fixed term, full-time position (maternity cover) offers the opportunity to work in a world-class oncology setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient wellbeing and recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, patient-centred occupational therapy services to individuals with complex oncology needs.
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored intervention plans to support patients' functional independence and quality of life.
Work collaboratively with medical, nursing, and allied health teams to ensure integrated, holistic care.
Contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives, and student supervision.
The successful candidate will possess:
Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) with current AHPRA registration.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience, preferably within an acute hospital or oncology setting.
Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Passion for delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement.
