About the role
Fleetmark Group has been shaping how some of Australia’s biggest brands show up on the road for more than 30 years. From Coles and Woolworths to KFC and Metro Trains, our fleet branding and signage solutions are seen across Australia every day.
In 2025, Fleetmark partnered with Straight Bat Private Equity to accelerate our next phase of growth.
Now we're looking for a commercially sharp Commercial Analyst to join us at an exciting point in that journey.
This isn't a role where you'll build a model, hand over the deck and move onto the next client. You'll be embedded in the business, working alongside senior leadership, operational teams and our private equity partners to identify opportunities, build the commercial case and help turn those opportunities into results.
If you're coming from strategy or management consulting and want to see what happens after the recommendation is made, this could be the move you've been looking for.
What You'll Do
You'll work across Fleetmark's manufacturing and commercial operations to help identify and unlock value across the business.
You will:
Get into the detail of complex operational, financial and commercial data to identify cost savings, efficiencies and growth opportunities.
Assess new initiatives, build robust commercial cases and clearly articulate the potential value.
Turn fragmented data into meaningful insights that support better commercial decisions.
Work directly with Operations, Finance, Sales and Manufacturing to understand what's really happening across the business.
Spend meaningful time on-site building relationships and understanding how our operations work from the ground up.
Present analysis, recommendations and opportunities to senior leadership and our private equity partners.
Support the prioritisation and execution of value creation initiatives across the Group.
Gain direct exposure to how a PE-backed business approaches growth, operational improvement, investment and returns.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone intellectually curious, commercially minded and comfortable operating where the answer isn't immediately obvious.
Ideally, you'll bring:
2 - 4 years' experience in strategy or management consulting, ideally with strong exposure to supply chain, manufacturing, operations or industrial businesses.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to bring structure to ambiguous problems.
The confidence to work with large, imperfect or fragmented datasets and still arrive at clear commercial insights.
Strong financial and commercial acumen.
The ability to move comfortably between detailed analysis and the bigger commercial picture.
Excellent communication skills and the confidence to present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
A practical mindset - you're interested in understanding how the business actually works, not just analysing it from behind a desk.
A degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline.
SQL and/or Python capability would be highly regarded.
Why Fleetmark?
For the right person, this is a genuine opportunity to move from advising businesses to helping build one.
You'll bring your consulting toolkit into a growing, PE-backed industrial business where the work you do can directly influence commercial decisions and business performance.
You'll have exposure to senior leadership, private equity investors and the operational engine of the business, while developing a much deeper understanding of how value creation actually happens.
There are no endless layers between your analysis and the decision.
You'll be close to the problem, close to the decision-makers and close to the outcome.
As Fleetmark continues to grow, so too will the opportunity for someone who can demonstrate that they can find value, influence decisions and help deliver results.
Ready to swap recommendations for results?
Apply now and help shape Fleetmark's next chapter.
