About the role
Pinjarra Based | Mon–Fri | $65–$75/hr | High-Spec Ute
Performance Mining is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team in a predominantly local, Pinjarra-based role.
Working across a range of CAT, Komatsu and other major OEM heavy mining and road transport equipment, you’ll carry out servicing, diagnostics, fault finding and repairs from our well-equipped Pinjarra workshop, with occasional site-based Rapid Response work as required.
$65–$75/hr depending on experience
Monday–Friday local role
High-spec field service ute + fuel card
Choice of full-time or casual employment
Clean, organised and well-equipped Pinjarra workshop
Quality tooling and equipment
Varied work across HME and road transport equipment
Occasional Rapid Response/site work for additional job variety

Immediate start available
Cert III in Mobile Plant Mechanical Technology or equivalent
Experience with CAT, Komatsu and other major OEM HME
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Confident using OEM diagnostic tooling and electronic fault-finding systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional and confident when dealing with clients
Good computer skills for service reporting and basic administration
HR Licence or above
Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and National Police Clearance
