Operations Support Engineer

Location :SydneyEligibility: Candidates must have full working rights in Australia (Citizen, PR, or Valid Visa holders).
We are seeking an experienced Senior Specialist with expertise in Avaya Aura to support day-to-day platform operations. The role involves monitoring system health, managing BAU activities, assisting with incident triage and troubleshooting, and ensuring adherence to operational processes, governance, and service standards
Operational Support & MonitoringPerform basic platform monitoring using dashboards and toolsExecute routine health checks and validation activitiesSupport daily BAU operational activities across HDC servicesIdentify and raise alerts/issues to senior L2/L3 team members
Incident & Problem SupportAssist in incident triage, logging, and initial assessmentPerform basic troubleshooting using runbooks and SOPsEscalate incidents to CCP Specialists or Engineers when requiredTrack incidents and support updates to stakeholders
Knowledge & Process AdherenceFollow defined runbooks, SOPs, and operational procedures and contribute to knowledge base updates and documentationEnsure adherence to governance, controls, and operational standards
