P&P Business Partner

An exciting opportunity is available for a People & Performance Business Partner to join our team on a 12-month maximum term contract, based at Enfield and North Ryde.

Reporting to the Head of People & Performance (WAN & AU BI), this role delivers value-added HR business partnering solutions and builds people and leadership capability across our Animal Nutrition & Australian Bakery Ingredients businesses to effectively deliver positive business outcomes and growth in line with the Mauri strategy.

This is a generalist HR role that provides a unique opportunity to flex across white collar and blue collar stakeholders. Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Strategic HR partnership with our leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives
• Providing hands-on and pragmatic support on people-related issues including ER & IR, talent management, coaching/development, compensation, conflict resolution, organisational development, HSE, communications, change management, recruitment support and training.
• Contributing to the development, implementation and monitoring of internal policies, procedures, guidelines and processes to provide effective, consistent and timely delivery of P&P services.
• Supporting and coaching leaders to develop positive employee relationships and manage their people consistent with requirements.
• Demonstrating constructive, inclusive and energising leadership to create an environment that encourages personal accountability, growth and development.
• Supporting the execution of all people-related elements of large-scale change/transformation projects.
• Driving employee engagement & championing recognition and reward programs.
• Supporting enterprise bargaining, industrial relations matters and employee consultation activities.

You will also be a critical support to the wider Mauri's P&P team; driving key people agenda priorities and projects across the broader Mauri and GWF business as and when required.

About You

As the ideal candidate for this role, you will have experience in a similar HR generalist role and will possess the following qualities:

• Relevant experience in a generalist HR business partner role within FMCG or related industries is required
• You will have completed relevant tertiary qualifications in HR/Business or equivalent, is required
• Strong understanding of contemporary HR practices & demonstrated effectiveness in supporting leaders in core people processes 
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and proven experience in building and maintaining effective relationships at all levels, internally & externally.
• Demonstrated flexibility and reliability to flex with business priorities, applying business partnering skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to influence a range of cross-functional stakeholders & senior leadership.
• This role will suit someone who enjoys applying business insights to people decisions; has strong IR/ER experience, enjoys direct coaching of leaders and has the courage to confront and actively manage challenging issues, with a genuine desire to impact positive change and behaviours.
