Our service has proudly supported Defence children and families for more than five years, and we're looking for a passionate Early Childhood Educator to become part of our team.

About our service
Tingira One Tree Defence Unit Tingira is located in Nowra on the beautiful NSW South Coast and provides early childhood education and care to Defence families within the local community.
Being part of a Defence service creates a unique community environment. Our educators have the opportunity to build strong relationships with children and families, providing consistency, connection and a sense of belonging for families who may experience the unique demands of Defence life.

About the role
As an
Early Childhood Educator, you'll work alongside your team to create a welcoming, engaging and nurturing environment for the children in your care.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Build genuine relationships with children and families
- Support children's individual interests, strengths and development
- Contribute to engaging learning experiences and the daily program
- Collaborate with your fellow educators and room leaders
- Create an environment where children feel safe, supported and confident to explore

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and wants to be part of the Tingira community.
What you'll bring - Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current Police Check or willingness to obtain one
- A genuine passion for working with children
- The ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- A reliable, positive and collaborative approach
- A commitment to supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing
