Disability Service Manager

Salary: $115,000 Total Package (inclusive of base salary, fuel and on-call allowances)

Aligned Community Care is seeking an experienced Disability Service Manager to lead services supporting participants with complex psychosocial disabilities, mental health conditions, dual diagnoses and forensic backgrounds.

This is a leadership role responsible for service delivery, compliance, staff performance and participant outcomes. You'll lead Team Leaders and Disability Support Workers while working alongside Behaviour Support Practitioners, psychologists, Occupational Therapists and other allied health professionals.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor Team Leaders and Disability Support Workers

• Oversee high-quality, person-centred service delivery

• Manage participant risk, incidents and restrictive practice compliance

• Build strong relationships with participants, families and multidisciplinary teams

• Coach staff, manage performance and support professional development

• Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and organisational policies

• Participate in a paid rotating on-call roster

What You'll Bring

Essentials

• Experience as a Service Manager, Service Delivery Manager or similar leadership role within the NDIS sector

• Experience managing complex participants, including psychosocial disability, mental health or high-risk behaviours

• Strong understanding of reportable incidents under the NDIS Framework

• Strong knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards, incident management and restrictive practices

• Proven ability to lead teams, drive performance and maintain service quality

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Highly Regarded

• Experience working with forensic, justice or correctional participants

• Understanding of trauma-informed and recovery-oriented practice
