Jarred Michael Designs specialises in the design and construction of high-end residential landscapes.

We deliver complete, design-led outdoor environments encompassing paving, concreting, swimming pools, retaining walls, pavilions, outdoor structures and detailed soft landscaping.

Our projects are carefully considered and delivered to a high standard, with a strong focus on workmanship, attention to detail, site presentation and the overall client experience.

As the construction arm of the business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Landscape Tradesperson to join our team on a full-time basis.

• Deliver landscape construction works in accordance with detailed plans, specifications and project requirements

• Apply strong practical knowledge across structural landscaping, hardscaping and soft landscaping

• Accurately set out works, establish levels and identify construction requirements before commencing each stage

• Produce consistently high-quality finishes suited to premium residential projects

• Work effectively across multiple construction stages and adapt to the varying requirements of each project

• Take ownership of allocated works and complete them efficiently with limited supervision

• Identify potential site issues early and contribute practical solutions

• Coordinate effectively with supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers and other trades

• Assist with material planning and ensure materials are used efficiently and responsibly

• Maintain safe, clean and professionally presented worksites

• Represent the business professionally when communicating with clients and other project stakeholders

• Support less-experienced team members and contribute to a positive, productive site culture

• Demonstrated experience in landscape construction or a closely related construction trade

• Strong experience across a broad range of landscape construction methods and materials

• Proven ability to read and interpret landscape, architectural and construction plans

• Sound understanding of set-out, levels, drainage and general construction principles

• High attention to detail and a strong understanding of quality workmanship

• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and maintain productivity throughout the day

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt when site conditions change

• Reliable, punctual and professional, with a strong work ethic

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team

• Current Australian driver’s licence and confidence driving

• Reliable transport

Relevant landscape construction or trade qualifications are highly regarded. Applicants without formal qualifications may also be considered where substantial practical experience can be demonstrated.
