Plumber - Hot Water Installer

HiTech Hotwater is a growing hot water specialist helping Sydney households switch to energy-efficient heat pump hot water systems. Based at our Eastern Creek warehouse, we install across Greater Sydney (roughly 80 km radius). With bookings booming, we need licensed plumbers who can start now.

The Role

• Install all-in-one (integrated) heat pump hot water systems — around 90% of our installs, no refrigerant pipework involved

• Remove and decommission existing electric, gas or solar hot water systems

• Carry out site inspections ahead of installations

• Service, maintain and repair all types of hot water systems, including units we've previously installed

• Dispose of the removed old tank at a compliant facility — a simple drive, drop and collect-a-receipt job

• Complete compliance paperwork, photos and job documentation

• Work both independently and as part of a small, supportive team

You won't be working alone on the electrical side — we arrange an electrician to be with you on the job for all electrical work. Every install is a two-person plumber + electrician team.

What You'll Need

• Relevant plumbing trade qualifications with a current NSW Plumbing (Water Plumbing) Licence

• Experience installing or replacing hot water systems (heat pump experience highly regarded)

• Current ABN — this is a subcontract role; payment is made to your ABN

• Own ute, trolley and hand tools — vehicle and tools are not supplied

• A current driver's licence

• Physically fit — hot water units require safe manual handling

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• A reliable, professional, and maintenance-focused work ethic

Highly regarded: gasfitting licence, experience with energy-efficiency scheme installs (ESS/STC), public liability insurance (include your certificate of currency if you hold one).
