Physiotherapists – Full-Time and Part-Time

About the role

Carino Care is seeking two compassionate and experienced Physiotherapists, one full-time and one part-time, to provide services across our four residential aged care homes located in Oatley, Rockdale, Russell Lea and Sylvania. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive multidisciplinary team and make a meaningful difference to the mobility, independence, comfort and quality of life of older people.

Key responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive physiotherapy, mobility and functional assessments.

• Develop and review individualised treatment, rehabilitation and exercise programs.

• Deliver falls-prevention, mobility, balance, strength and pain-management interventions.

• Assess residents following falls, changes in mobility or deterioration in function.

• Recommend appropriate mobility aids, transfer equipment and seating.

• Provide manual-handling and safe-transfer advice to care and nursing staff.

• Contribute to care planning, clinical reviews and multidisciplinary case discussions.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Support residents to achieve their individual mobility and quality-of-life goals.

• Work collaboratively with residents, families, nursing staff, care workers, medical practitioners and allied health professionals.

About you

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

• A recognised qualification in Physiotherapy.

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain.

• Valid Australian working rights.

• Strong communication, assessment and clinical documentation skills.

• A person-centred and respectful approach to supporting older people.

• The ability to work independently and collaboratively across a multidisciplinary environment.

• Previous residential aged care experience is desirable but not essential.
