Electrical Switchboard Fitter (MSSBs)

Evolv Building Technologies is expanding rapidly, following the acquisition of Ronin Control Systems and the continued growth of our project and service business.

As our projects and manufacturing workload increase, we are seeking an experienced Switchboard Fitter to join our workshop team and play a key role in delivering high-quality switchboards to our clients.

In this role, you will:

• Build mechanical services switchboards from drawings through to final testing

• Provide practical feedback on designs to improve buildability

• Manage materials and organise your own jobs

• Deliver neat, well-laid-out boards that reflect quality workmanship

• Take ownership of your work from start to finish

You will work closely with our project managers, engineers and leadership team, contributing your practical experience to ensure efficient builds and high standards.

The Role

You will be responsible for the complete assembly process, including:

• Reading and interpreting switchboard drawings and schematics

• Providing feedback where drawings can be improved

• Ordering and coordinating materials

• Switchboard layout and mechanical assembly

• Cabling and terminations to a high standard

• Testing and quality checks

• Preparing boards for dispatch

This role suits someone who can manage their own workflow, takes pride in neat workmanship, and wants to grow with the business.

• Proven experience building and fitting switchboards

• Confident reading electrical drawings

• Strong attention to detail and presentation

• Able to work independently and manage your time

• Proactive and solutions-focused

• Interested in developing into a supervisory role over time

An electrical trade qualification is highly regarded.
