We are looking for a reliable, caring and motivated Domestic Support Assistants to join our team and support older Australians to remain living independently in their own homes.

In this role, you’ll provide essential domestic assistance to our Home Care clients, helping them maintain a safe, clean and comfortable home environment while providing friendly and respectful customer service.

• Provide domestic assistance in accordance with individual care and service plans.
• Complete tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting and bathroom, toilet and kitchen cleaning.
• Assist with washing, folding and ironing clothes and linen.
• Dispose of household waste appropriately.
• Prioritise and complete allocated tasks efficiently.
• Complete required documentation accurately and in line with Goodwin policies and procedures.
• Report incidents, hazards and other relevant events to management.
• Respond to client requests appropriately and professionally.
• Communicate with clients in a respectful, dignified and culturally sensitive manner.
• Contribute to Goodwin’s commitment to quality care and continuous improvement.

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, practical and takes pride in providing a high standard of service. You’ll be comfortable working independently in clients’ homes while also being a positive and supportive member of the broader team.

You’ll bring

• Current Australian driver’s licence.
• Your own registered motor vehicle with full comprehensive insurance that can be used for work purposes.
• A smartphone that is available and operational during work hours.
• The ability to work with limited supervision.
