CNC & Edgebander Operator - Cabinet Making

About the role

Zente Exquisite Kitchens is seeking a reliable and experienced CNC Operator to join our production team at our workshop in Caboolture.

This is a full-time position working within our cabinetry manufacturing team, operating CNC and edging machinery to produce high-quality components ready for assembly.

What you'll be doing

• Operating CNC machinery and running pre-programmed jobs for kitchen and cabinetry components

• Loading and unloading materials and components as required

• Applying identification labels/stickers to completed parts

• Operating edging machinery to apply edging to cabinetry components

• Checking each component for quality, accuracy and finish

• Identifying scratches, chips, blemishes or other defects before parts move to the next stage of production

• Stacking and organising completed components ready for the assembly team

• Keeping machinery and surrounding work areas clean, organised and safe

• Working closely with the production team to maintain an efficient workflow and meet production schedules

What we're looking for

• Previous experience operating CNC machine

• Experience with edge banding machinery would be highly regarded

• Strong attention to detail and a good eye for quality

• Ability to identify defects, damage and inconsistencies in finished components

• Reliable, organised and able to work efficiently in a production environment

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• A commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work
