The company

VEHiQA (www.vehiqa.com.au) is a leading supplier and manufacturer of Vehicle-mounted Emergency Warning products to Public Safety in Australia. The company is based in a new purpose-built facility and is currently expanding its Australian Operations.

Opportunities now exist for Accessory Fitters to join our Installation team based in Eagle Farm, Brisbane.

The role
The Accessory Fitter is responsible for the installation of electronic modules and wiring into a range of vehicles. The role is key to ensuring the quality and timeliness of the services the company provides to its clients, which are generally large Government and Corporate organizations, not private individuals.

Required skills

The ideal candidate will have experience in any of the following:

• Candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years experience in vehicle accessory fitting or related automotive electrical work.

• Australian work rights are required for this position.

• Trade assistant level electrical knowledge is required for 12V installations

• Dual Battery Installations

• Vehicle Accessory fitting

• Radio/UHF installations

Personal characteristics

• Ability to deliver work of a high standard, within specified time frames and under minimal supervision

• Good verbal communication skills

• Ability to contribute to a positive team environment

• Good personal organisational skills

• Willingness to work off-site occasionally to support installations and service

• Sound troubleshooting/problem-solving skills and attention to detail
