Bartender

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Bartender to join our vibrant team at Billy Chow's, a popular bar and restaurant located in Coolangatta, Queensland. In this casual role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting delicious cocktails and beverages to delight our patrons.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely and professional manner

• Maintain a clean and well-organised bar area, ensuring all equipment and glassware are properly cleaned and stored

• Assist with inventory management and stock control to ensure adequate supplies of all necessary bar items

• Provide excellent customer service, offering recommendations and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests

• Monitor customer behaviour and responsibly serve alcohol in accordance with liquor licensing regulations

• Support the manager and team with any additional tasks as required

What we're looking for

• At least 2 years' experience as a bartender or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment

• Strong knowledge of a wide range of cocktails, spirits, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team

• Proficient in cash handling and point-of-sale systems

• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification or willingness to obtain

• Flexible and adaptable, able to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
