Position: CHEF – Full-time

Annual Salary: $80,000 + super

Location: Northbridge WA

 SAUMA Restaurant wants to recruit a full-time chef with relevant qualification and experience to join our team and commence work soonest possible. Long term commitment is required.

 We are looking for someone who meets the following expectations:

• Preferably (not necessarily) an Australian citizen/permanent resident

• Has at least 3 years’ experience as a chef in Australia

• Able to plan and cost menu items

• Has a high standard of food presentation and takes pride in his/her culinary skills

• Ability to guide and train junior cooks in food preparation techniques

• Has a passion for producing quality food to meet customer demand

• Be available for work on most days, including weekends

• Be able to communicate with suppliers to place orders for food supplies

• Fanatical about a tidy and clean hygienic kitchen and ensures food safety requirements are maintained

• Has a happy personality that is maintained under pressure

• Be a team player and has long-term intention to work with us
