Due to continued business growth, we are seeking a motivated and skilled air conditioning and refrigeration mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, service and repair residential and commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs using appropriate testing equipment and industry-standard procedures.
• Install refrigeration pipework, associated electrical controls and system components.
• Test, commission and ensure air conditioning and refrigeration systems are operating safely and efficiently.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and manufacturer manuals.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate job documentation.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and relevant Australian standards.
• Provide professional customer service while working independently and as part of a team.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A relevant trade qualification in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or an equivalent overseas qualification.
• A minimum of two years' relevant experience in the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of residential and commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Sound knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration principles and safe work practices.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage workloads efficiently.
• A current Australian driver's licence or the ability to obtain one.

Pay: $82,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
