Warehouse Storeperson

About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse Storeperson to join PCA Supply Chain Solution Pty Ltd on a full-time basis. Based in Moorebank NSW 2170, this role is central to maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our warehouse operations. As a Warehouse Storeperson, you will be responsible for the systematic receipt, storage, management, and dispatch of inventory within our distribution facility. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that our supply chain operates smoothly and that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities

1. Receiving and checking incoming goods against delivery documentation and purchase orders to ensure accuracy and quality

2. Organising and storing goods in designated warehouse locations using appropriate storage methods and systems

3. Maintaining accurate records of inventory using warehouse management systems and manual records

4. Picking and packing orders according to customer specifications and dispatch requirements

5. Loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles, trailers, and containers with care to prevent damage

6. Conducting regular stock counts and reconciliation to identify discrepancies and ensure inventory accuracy

7. Monitoring stock levels and identifying items requiring replenishment or reordering

8. Maintaining warehouse cleanliness, safety standards, and organisation of the storage facility

9. Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanning devices in accordance with safety procedures

10. Assisting with warehouse reorganisation and layout improvements to optimise space and efficiency

11. Supporting the warehouse team in meeting daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets

What we're looking for

1. Demonstrated experience working in a warehouse, distribution centre, or similar logistics environment

2. A minimum of 1-2 years of warehouse experience is required for this position

3. Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet handling equipment, with relevant certifications preferred

4. Previous high-reach experience is required.

5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking, packing, and inventory management tasks

6. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets

7. Solid organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks

8. Competency in using warehouse management systems and basic computer literacy

9. Physical fitness and the capability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and carrying goods

10. Reliability and commitment to maintaining consistent attendance and punctuality

11. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within a team environment

12. A commitment to workplace health and safety practices and procedures

13. Customer service orientation and awareness of how warehouse operations impact downstream processing

14. Must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position
