MC Local Drivers – Day Shift

Cahill Transport is seeking experienced MC Drivers to join our Laverton North team, completing local work across Melbourne.

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday day shift role with ongoing work predominantly transporting general freight, along with some bulk loads.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Completing local metro deliveries across Melbourne.

• Transporting predominantly general freight, along with some bulk loads.

• Completing tautliner and general freight work.

• Using dogs and chains to safely restrain bulk loads.

• Reversing and docking safely at customer and depot locations.

• Completing load restraint in accordance with NHVR and Chain of Responsibility requirements.

• Working Monday to Friday on day shift, with early starts.

What You’ll Bring

• Current MC licence.

• Minimum 2 years' MC driving experience.

• Experience in local metro and general freight work highly regarded.

• Strong load restraint skills, including experience using straps, angles, dogs and chains.

• Confidence reversing, docking and working in tight-access areas.

• Good understanding of fatigue management, NHVR and Chain of Responsibility requirements.

• Reliable and safety-focused approach to work.
