Senior Bookkeeper / Client Manager - Work From Home 4-5 days per week

The Role

You will be an experienced Financial Controller/Finance Manager/Management Accountant/Account Manager/Senior Bookkeeper or Accountant with an eye for detail, proactive attitude and natural curiosity. You will have no problem with the hands-on aspect of the role at times but also have the ability to level up and assist our clients in the advisory space. If this advisory space is somewhere you want to push further into then this is the role for you as we place a premium on individual growth & training. Working directly with the Owner but also being the point of contact for our more junior staff you will enjoy the customer service part of the role as you will be interacting with all levels of clients (whom we absolutely love) and team members.  This role will be for 4-5 days per week depending on what works for the candidate.

So what does the role look like?

-Oversee the bookkeeping for multiple clients 

-Supervise juniors

-Oversee payroll processing for clients

-App training and integration (we love our apps and a good automated process!)

-Oversee data entry-but happy to jump and assist where/when needed

-Oversee PAYG/BAS, payroll tax and superannuation reporting & lodgement

-Onboarding clients

-Month-End Close

-Managing emails and client queries

-Admin and process review and integration for Hot Toast & clients

-Month-end close and management reports

Is this role for you? It could be if the below sounds like you:

-Minimum 5-7 years experience in a similar role

-Fluent in English, both written and verbal

-Awesome organisational skills (you have to love a process)

-Ability to work in a remote/work-from-home capacity

-Proven bookkeeping experience

-Xero experience desirable – we are a Xero-only firm

-Willingness to learn new technology and apps for Hot Toast & clients

-Ability to multitask and coordinate/manage junior team members where necessary
