The ELGM Group currently have an exciting opportunity for a Parks and Gardens apprentice to join our team!  

You will be working alongside our highly skilled and qualified tradespeople learning and mastering your trade. 

Responsibilities for this position include:  

• To assist in maintaining and developing the designated areas to the required standard in a timely manner.
• Grass cutting (using walk-behind, ride-on and our-front mowers, edges and brush cutters).  
• General tidying up and rubbish removal.  
• Weed control (manual removal and minor herbicide use).  
• Assure quality of work is performed to a high standard in accordance with expected standards.  
• Complete study and on job components to meet qualification requirements for Cert III in Horticulture.  

To be successful you will need to have the following: 
Must have: 

• Ability to undertake manual/physical work. 
• Genuine interest in landscaping. 
• Punctual, reliable and energetic. 
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
