The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced motor mechanic to join our team and lead the workshop operations. This permanent full-time role is perfect for a professional seeking a leadership role in a dynamic and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee daily operations of the workshop.
Diagnose, repair, and maintain a diverse range of vehicle makes and models.
Mentor and train junior mechanics and apprentices, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
Conduct quality assurance checks on all completed repairs.
Communicate effectively with customers, providing detailed explanations and updates on their vehicle repairs.
Maintain accurate service records and manage inventory and parts ordering.
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
Assist with the ordering and receipting of parts and consumables.
Ensure the repair process is efficient, cost-effective, and meets high-quality standards.
What We are Looking
Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis in Light Vehicles or higher.
At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience in motor mechanics.
Strong proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
Superior communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Experience with European, American, and Asian vehicle brands.
Additional certifications in vehicle safety checks and automotive technology or related areas.
Familiarity with advanced diagnostic tools and software is a must.
