You’ll work across a varied mix of residential, commercial and industrial sites, carrying out installations, servicing, fault-finding and repairs. No two days will be exactly the same - and you’ll have the opportunity to use your technical skills, solve real problems and deliver work you’re proud to put your name to.

What you’ll be doing

In This Hands-on Role, You Will

Install, maintain and repair air conditioning and heat pump systemsWork across residential, commercial and industrial sitesDiagnose HVAC faults using gauges, thermometers and other diagnostic toolsRead and interpret mechanical, electrical and refrigeration schematicsComplete work safely, neatly and in line with Australian standardsExplain faults, recommended solutions and service costs clearly to customersIdentify out-of-scope work requiring a variation or quotationCollaborate with other technicians and trades on project installationsMaintain accurate job records, timesheets and photo documentation using field-based softwareOrganise job-specific materials through preferred suppliersSupport, coach and supervise air conditioning apprenticesRepresent the business professionally through your workmanship, communication and site conduct

What you’ll bring

We’d like to hear from you if you have:

Certificate III in Air Conditioning and RefrigerationA current Refrigerant Handling LicenceA current Australian driver’s licenceStrong installation, servicing and fault-finding skillsA sound understanding of refrigeration, electrical and safety standardsClear communication skills and a professional approach with customersThe ability to work independently and contribute to a teamPride in delivering reliable, high-quality workmanshipConfidence using digital job-management tools, or the willingness to learnA current Police Check and Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain them

A dual air conditioning and electrical trade qualification will be highly regarded, but it isn’t essential.

Third- and fourth-year apprentices are also encouraged to apply.
