Clinical Nurse Specialist - Oncology

This is a Permanent Part Time appointment at 68.4 hours (0.9 FTE - Full Time Equivalent) per fortnight.  

Job Share arrangements may be considered at minimum 0.4 FTE.

The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), in partnership with the Clinical Nurse Managers (CNM), is responsible for;

• The delivery of quality patient care within their speciality.
• Supervising the delivery of quality patient care, through developing standards of practice, implementing changes to clinical practice, staff education and initiating research and quality improvement activities.
• Providing a consultation service within their area of expertise and working collaboratively to improve the quality of patient care and promote desired outcomes in the patient population, which includes patients with complex needs, within the inpatient and ambulatory care setting. 

As part of our CNS Oncology team, this position has a dedicated Neuro-Oncology portfolio and is responsible for providing clinical leadership, coordination, and specialist expertise for patients with neuro-oncological conditions across the care continuum.
