Experienced Garage Door Technician/Installer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced technician to join our constantly growing team. Based in Biggera Waters, if you are a person willing to deliver excellent customer service, are self-motivated and have a strong work ethic – we are looking for you.

Key responsibilities

• Repair and service various brands of domestic garage doors and openers

• Installation of both roller doors and panel/sectional doors – all brands

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and problem solve issues delivering accurate and cost effective repairs

• Perform routine servicing and maintenance to ensure reliability and optimum performance of garage doors and openers

• Ensure all work is carried out safely and compliant to WHS standards and policies

• Maintain, care for and be responsible for all business tools and equipment provided

About you

• Knowledge of domestic garage doors and openers

• Experience as a service technician or installer in the garage door industry with a minimum of 2 years experience

• Ability to work as part of a team and also independently

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Proficient in problem solving and troubleshooting repairs and installations

• Valid open Australian Drivers License

• Police Criminal History check less than 2 years old or agreeable to obtain one if offered the position

• White card preferred or agreeable to obtain one if offered the position

• Available for after hours emergency repairs

• An Australian resident for employment purposes
