Store Manager, Regional Health & Mobility

Owned and operated by the CQ Friendly Society, Regional Health & Mobility is a community owned organisation that is committed to improving the health of the local community. 

With a network of four (4) Health and Mobility retail outlets in Central Queensland & Wide Bay, the organisation has been at the forefront of providing health, independent living and mobility services to the disability (NDIS) and aged care sectors for the past twenty (20) years. 

Position Summary:  

As the Manager, Regional Health & Mobility Gladstone you will oversee our heath and mobility retail outlet, repairs and maintenance department, product hire business, and funding program relationships. If you're a dedicated professional with a passion for making a difference, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead the day-to-day operations of our Gladstone retail outlet and provide outreach services within the Gladstone area.

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth.

• Provide top-tier customer service and support to our valued customers.

• Recruit, train, and inspire a high-performing team.

• Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and optimize profitability.

• Oversee our repairs and maintenance department, ensuring our goal of supporting a customer through the life cycle of their equipment, is being achieved.

• Provide support for our hire business that will foster efficiently and maximise growth opportunities. 

• Cultivate and manage relationships with funding providers and government agencies and support your team through an intimate understanding of funding bodies and their individual requirements.

• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and play an instrumental role in ensuring we meet the requirements of our ISO9001 and NDIS quality standards.

• Engage with the local community and healthcare providers to promote the services offered by Regional Health & Mobility across the Central Queensland area. 

To be a success in this role, you will have: 

• Experience in managing people and building a high performing team focused on exceeding the expectations of every customer.

• A knowledge of the NDIS, DVA and My Aged Care funding models is not essential but would be of an advantage in the role.

• Extensive retail knowledge.

• Health, Mobility, and Independent Living product knowledge would be advantage.
