Casual Warehouse - Stair Nosing Manufacturing

We are currently looking for an experienced warehouse/factory staff member to join our Stair Nosing Department within our flooring distribution facility in Ormeau. This is a casual role suited to a hard-working, take-charge individual seeking growth, with a pathway to a full-time position.

To be successful you will need:

• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or machine operating experience preferred.

• Mechanically minded with the ability to learn machine setup and adjustments.

• high attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to perform manual handling and stand for extended periods.

• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.

• Forklift license desirable but not essential.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Available Mon-Fri
   

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operating and monitoring stair nosing production equipment.

• Loading and unloading flooring planks and materials.

• Assisting with machine setup and changeovers for different product sizes.

• Performing quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards.

• Maintaining a clean and safe work area.

• Packaging, handling, and preparing finished products for dispatch.

• Following production schedules and work instructions.

• Assisting with general factory duties as required

Starting at 8am - 1pm Monday - Friday with the possibility of more if needed when busy. 
 

This position will suit candidates who have previous experience in warehousing and distribution.
