About the role

Priceline Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at our Coolangatta QLD location. This is a casual position offering flexible working arrangements to suit your lifestyle. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy operations, helping to deliver excellent customer service and ensuring our store runs smoothly. This position is perfect for individuals looking for flexible work whilst contributing to a fast-paced retail environment within the pharmacy and consumer health sector.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting customers with product selection and providing helpful advice on over-the-counter health and beauty products

• Processing customer transactions at the till with accuracy and efficiency

• Maintaining store displays and ensuring products are well-stocked and presented to a high standard

• Supporting the pharmacist with administrative tasks and general pharmacy operations

• Handling customer enquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner

• Keeping the store clean, tidy and organised in accordance with Priceline Pharmacy standards

• Assisting with stock management and inventory control

• Supporting promotional activities and helping to implement in-store marketing initiatives

What we're looking for

• Previous retail or customer service experience, ideally within a pharmacy or healthcare setting

• A friendly, helpful disposition with a genuine passion for customer service

• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with customers from diverse backgrounds

• Reliability and punctuality, with the flexibility to work casual shifts as required

• Basic IT skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems

• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• A commitment to health, safety and hygiene standards

• Willingness to learn about products and services to provide informed recommendations to customers
