Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology Apprentice

The successful applicant will assist with vehicle body repairs safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Duties may include:

• Assessing vehicle body damage and assisting with repair planning where required.
• Removing, repairing, replacing, and fitting damaged panels and vehicle body components.
• Straightening damaged panels, frames, and body sections using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Filling, grinding, sanding, and preparing repaired surfaces for painting.
• Using welding, cutting, hydraulic, pneumatic, and hand tools in accordance with workplace safety requirements.
• Refitting body hardware, trims, lights, and related components following repairs.
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and workshop areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Following workplace health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Working cooperatively with estimators, painters, apprentices, suppliers, insurers, and other team members.
