Civil Labourer

C&M Communications is a growing telecommunications civil construction company specialising in civil works for major telecommunications projects across Western Australia.

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Civil Labourers to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, working as part of a team and is keen to develop their skills within the telecommunications and civil construction industry.

About the Role

As a Civil Labourer, you will assist our civil crews with a range of telecommunications and civil construction activities, including:

• Pit and pipe installation

• Trenching and excavation works

• Installation of telecommunications infrastructure

• Cable hauling and general labouring duties

• Assisting with drilling crews

• Loading and unloading materials

• Using hand and power tools

• General site clean-up and maintenance

• Following site plans, instructions and safety procedures

• Working alongside supervisors and other crew members to complete jobs safely and efficiently

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking

• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors

• Able to work well as part of a team

• Willing to learn and take direction

• Safety-focused with a good attitude

• Able to follow instructions and complete tasks to a high standard

• Comfortable working in different locations and environments

• Previous civil, construction or telecommunications experience is highly regarded but not essential for the right person

Requirements

• White Card

• Current driver's licence

• Construction or civil experience is advantageous

• Ability to pass any required site inductions and pre-employment requirements
