Sales Associate - Retail Uniforms and Clothing

About us

Uniform Solutions is a retailer of uniforms, workwear, school wear and promotional products.  We cater for all industry sectors including office/corporate, health and aged care, the beauty industry, hospitality, mining and light industry, leisure & sporting, promo gear & schools.  We are embroidery specialists with state-of-the-art embroidery machines and can custom make and alter garments. Our range of services also includes sublimation, heat transfers and screen printing.  

We’re looking for a passionate and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales Associate/Retail Assistant. Your focus will be delivering apparel solutions that match our clients’ needs, backed by one of the largest product ranges in the industry.

About the role 

• This role offers the opportunity of working with the sales team supporting sales through the well-established and recognised facility.

• Interacting with existing customers and offering the best solutions for their uniform and apparel needs

• Providing excellent customer service 

• Ensuring customer satisfaction is of a consistently high standard

• Entering jobs into the system and following these orders through to delivery

• Accurate and reliable cash handling & EFTPOS payments

• Working within a team environment to achieve sales targets

• Maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the showroom 

• Ongoing administrational tasks relating to your customers orders

• Secure rostered hours - 5 days a week plus every second Saturday morning.

• You are fun, passionate and motivated to work

• Strong retail sales skills

• Systems-oriented with the ability (and desire) to follow direction, while not being afraid to show initiative

• Organised and thorough with an eye for detail 

• Capable of working independently, as well as in a team

• You can prioritise and multitask with the best of them

• You are looking for something you can commit to long term

Your experience and knowledge

• Previous Retail experience in apparel and clothing industry

• Previous experience in a uniform, corporate and workwear sales environments
