Curtains and Blinds Sales Consultant

About the role

Curtain Club is seeking a talented Curtains and Blinds Sales Consultant to join our team in Sydney. This is a full-time position based in Sydney NSW 2000, where you will play a crucial role in driving sales and building lasting relationships with our clients. As a Sales Consultant, you will be at the forefront of our business, representing Curtain Club's premium product offerings and translating client needs into tailored window treatment solutions. This role is essential to achieving our sales targets and expanding our customer base whilst maintaining the high standards of service Curtain Club is known for.

What you'll be doing

• Conduct in-home consultations, site measures and recommend suitable curtain and blind solutions.

• Guide customers through fabric, style and product selections while delivering exceptional service.

• Prepare quotations, follow up opportunities and manage the sales process through to order confirmation.

• Engaging with customers to understand their requirements, preferences and budget constraints for curtains and blinds solutions

• Providing expert product knowledge and recommendations tailored to individual customer needs and interior design styles

• Communicating effectively with our installation team to assist with on-site guidance

• Communicating effectively with our administration team for all scheduling and ordering-related matters

• Meeting and exceeding individual sales targets and contributing to team performance objectives

• Staying current with product ranges and design trends

What we're looking for

• Proven track record in sales, preferably within the window furnishings, interior design, retail or related industry

• A passion for interior design

• Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets consistently

• Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand customer needs and translate them into solutions

• An enthusiastic, motivated personality

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse clientele

• Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications

• Knowledge of window treatments, curtains, blinds and interior design principles is advantageous

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment

• Strong organisational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail

• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service experiences

• Valid driver's licence, car and willingness to conduct site visits as required

• Flexibility and adaptability to changing business priorities and customer demands
