About the role
About Infradeploy
Infradeploy is a growing infrastructure delivery business specialising in lighting, electrical, and EV charging assets for government and corporate clients across NSW. We deliver technically complex, safety-critical projects and asset management programs in public environments, working closely with councils, utilities, and major organisations.
Our work is varied, technically interesting, and genuinely matters — maintaining and deploying infrastructure that communities rely on every day.
About the role
This is a hands-on field role with real scope to develop. You will be delivering, inspecting, maintaining, and deploying electrical, lighting, and EV charging assets across public and private infrastructure — and as you settle in, taking on increasing responsibility in scoping works, allocating jobs to field crews, and supporting project delivery.
If you are an experienced electrician who is technically strong, takes compliance seriously, and is ready to work in a varied infrastructure environment while building toward a leadership and project management career — this role was written for you.
What you'll be doing
Field delivery (your day-to-day foundation)
Electrical installation, maintenance, and fault rectification of public lighting, smart lighting, electrical infrastructure, and EV charging equipment
Supervising and coordinating subcontractors and field crews on site
Completing job sheets, risk assessments, SWMS, permits, and asset records to a high standard
Ensuring all works comply with AS/NZS standards, WHS legislation, and client-specific safety requirements
Liaising with project managers, clients, and stakeholders during delivery
As your role develops
Scoping works from site inspections, defect reports, and client briefs
Allocating and scheduling jobs across field technicians and subcontractors
Contributing to asset management programs, condition inspections, and defect rectification planning
Occasional travel to regional sites across NSW as required
Supporting project management delivery — tracking progress, managing site issues, and reporting to clients
About you
You are a capable, safety-focused electrician who is either already working in a supervisory or leading-hand capacity, or ready to step into one. You take pride in your workmanship, your documentation, and your ability to get a job done right the first time. You are comfortable working across different sites, different clients, and different asset types — and you want to build a career, not just clock hours.
