About the role
The Midwife Educator is responsible for the design, implementation and evaluation of maternity education programs across Metro North Health and contributes to statewide simulation and education initiatives. Operating at an advanced practice level, the role provides expert midwifery leadership and educational support to promote evidence-based practice, workforce capability and high-quality care for women and babies.
The successful candidate will develop and maintain contemporary learning resources, facilitate education and professional development programs, support simulation-based learning activities and collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders. The role also contributes to research, evaluation and continuous improvement activities to ensure maternity education programs remain innovative, effective and aligned with contemporary midwifery practice.
