Albion Christmas Casual – Expression of Interest

Alfresco Emporium is a leading Australian lifestyle and homewares retailer, offering a beautiful collection of furniture, homewares, gifts and entertaining essentials.

With Christmas approaching, we’re looking for enthusiastic Christmas Casual Retail Sales Assistants to join our store teams and help us deliver an exceptional experience for our customers during our busiest time of year.

The Role

As a Christmas Casual, you’ll be an important part of our store team throughout the festive season. You’ll help customers find the perfect products and gifts, keep the store looking beautiful and support the team during busy trading periods.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing friendly, attentive and knowledgeable customer service
• Assisting customers with product and gift selections
• Processing sales and transactions
• Replenishing stock and maintaining beautiful product displays
• Gift wrapping and preparing purchases for customers
• Keeping the store clean, organised and well presented
• Supporting stock deliveries and general store operations
• Working collaboratively with the wider store team

About You

We’re looking for people who are positive, reliable and genuinely enjoy helping customers.

You’ll ideally have:

• A warm, friendly and confident approach to customer service
• An interest in homewares, interiors, gifting and lifestyle products
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work well in a busy retail environment
• A proactive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
• Previous retail or customer service experience, although this isn’t essential

Christmas Availability

As this is a seasonal position, we’re looking for team members with strong availability throughout the Christmas trading period, including weekdays, weekends and peak trading days.

Flexibility with hours and availability during November, December and the post-Christmas period will be highly regarded.
