Hydraulic Technician

 About the Opportunity

Due to consistent growth across our business, we are now seeking a Hydraulic Technician to join our high performance team in Clontarf, QLD. This role will see you working across a broad range of industrial sectors, providing breakdown and diagnostics support on hydraulic systems and equipment used in fixed plant and mobile equipment.

Your Role

• Perform allocated work within the workshop, which will include cylinder rebuilds, pump and motor repairs and testing.
• Attend site and conduct initial diagnosis and assessment.
• Determine what action is required to get the machine operational and initiate the corrective action, which may involve repair or replacement.
• Undertake site installations and commissioning of new systems.
• Provide routine preventative maintenance services on existing hydraulic equipment.
• Perform work safely and comply with WHS procedures.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will possess:

• •Relevant trade qualifications (ie Diesel, Mechanical or Hydraulic Fitter)
• Hydraulic Cylinder overhaul and diagnostic experience
• Field Service experience with the ability to prepare clear and concise service reports
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics together with sound report writing capabilities
• Flexibility to work overtime and on weekend call-out rosters when required
• Valid Driver's Licence and demonstrated safety first mindset.

This position will attract a pay rate of $45.00 to $50.00 per hour, commensurate with your qualifications, experience and accomplishments.
